While there have been a number of books published about the lives of several former Russian spies, this one is different because the story of Sergei Tretyakov ("Comrade J") occured in the last days of the old Soviet Union/5(89).

Hey, I love Le Carre and Clancy and Comrade J is a Comrade J book book to follow up fiction with reality. The book teases with promises of scandalous secrets revealed.

However, as the subjects of the secrets are on the whole still very much active, nothing is really confirmed. It is fun to try and track down some of the leads in the book/5(85). Two, I usually have a book or audio book somewhere near my person.
